Richard Boughton

Richard Boughton is the Chief Executive Officer of FlavorActiV and has held that role for over ten years. Richard’s background is in brewing and holds an BSc in Microbiology, has eight years of brewing experience with the Courage Group, five years of beer image management, fifteen years of yeast and CIP equipment supply and is a Fellow of the Institute of Brewing and Distilling. Richard is an avid fan of motorcar racing and a keen real tennis player.

Boris Gadzov

Boris is Director of Global Sensory Management. Boris began as a Global Sensory Manager where his significant language skills have helped develop business overseas and provided global multi language support to FlavorActiV’s customers. Before Boris joined FlavorActiV he gained a PhD in Food Molecular Microbiology.

Rob Rule

Rob has over 20 years’ experience of business leadership, technology commercialisation, venture capital investment and raising finance. Rob has been a director of Micap PLC and played an integral role in the commercialisation of the technology of the flavour, pharmaceutical and agrochemical sectors. Rob is currently the Managing Director of Ceramex Ltd. Rob has a first class degree in Chemical Physics, a PhD in Materials Structure and a Business Masters degree.

Martin Thomas

Martin is a Master Brewer with 35 years experience in beverage businesses including 18 at Board level. Roles included Operations Director of Britvic Soft Drinks, Production Director of Bass Brewers and Supply Chain Director of Molson Coors Brewing Company ( UK ) . Passionate about product quality and people development, Martin helped shape Molson Coors first global technical policies and supported expansion in Asia. Leisure interests include sport and music.

Dale Smith

Dale is FlavorActiV’s Director Of Operations, providing logistical management, company infrastructure,  product development and managing marketing areas. Previously Dale was a forensic scientist for the Forensic Science Service specialising in analytical chemistry and the detection of latent fingerprints. Moving into product development Dale worked for ROAR Particles creating nanotechnology based micro-encapsulated fingerprint powders and suspensions for the worldwide forensic market. Dale has a BSc (Hons) in Forensic Science and Psychology.
